Why I chose Kettering: : I just knew that the co-op program would make me a better candidate when I came up for a job against a typical, modern college student. It was also great that as a freshman I was able to take real engineering courses.
What Keeps Me Busy When I am On Campus: I am really involved with the Kettering Entrepreneur Society, as the vice president; I have been the president of National Society of Black Engineers, a tutor, involved in many community service campaigns and the treasurer of the basketball club. Most importantly, I am the president and CEO of my own company, Youth of Tomorrow. This is a non-profit company that provides educational programs in such areas as engineering and sports – to help kids prepare to pursue professional degrees after high school.
"Kettering University makes you mature a lot faster than you would at another college. You're constantly around a corporate environment, so when you graduate you’ll be ready to jump right in" – Marc Alexander
