Hometown: Flint, MI
Major: Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics
Why I chose Kettering: I selected Kettering because it offers me opportunities that other universities cannot offer. I liked the idea of getting real job experience while I went to school. Kettering does not just give you the tools to succeed, it shows you how to use them. Whenever any of my friends outside of Kettering ask me what I am doing, they are amazed!
What keeps me busy while I'm on Campus:
I am involved in the Society of Physics students, I am also a lifeguard at the recreation center. I am also a member of the Mathematics Honor Society and Allies. If I am not in class, or doing homework, then I'm at the rec. center.
"Kettering offers more opportunities than any other university of its size, but these opportunities come at a price. You have to work hard and challenge yourself in the classroom and at work. It may not be easy in the beginning, but when you finish you can be sure that you are one of the best trained and most prepared people in your field of study." |
