The Mechanical Engineering program at Kettering allows you to customize your degree by earning a specialty concentration or by earning a minor. Available specialty programs include Automotive Engineering Design, Bioengineering Applications, Machine Design & Advanced Materials and Alternative Energy.

Our Accreditation

The Mechanical Engineering program has been accredited since 1977 by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology EAC/ABET). Kettering University has been accredited since 1962 by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
