Step 1: Send in your Enrollment Deposit

Please confirm your enrollment and secure your place in the class by submitting $300 Enrollment Deposit within three weeks of your acceptance. You may pay your deposit online through our Blackboard system or by completing the Enrollment Deposit Form and sending a check payable to Kettering University. Please include the student's complete name and address on the check. Our enrollment deposit is fully refundable until May 1, 2010. To request a refund, please write a letter to the Director of Admissions and email it to her at admissions@kettering.edu.

Step 2: Complete and submit your Housing Contract & Wellness/Medical Form

It's easy to complete all these forms online through our Blackboard system. You will need your username and password.

Housing Contract
All incoming students are expected to reside on campus and have a full meal plan for the academic portion of their first year at Kettering University.

Please complete and submit the New Student Housing Contract and the Thompson Hall Housing Assignment Information Form. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent(s)/guardian(s) will need a signature code to authorize your submission of this Contract, which they will receive in the mail within the next few days (if they have not received it already) or they can call 1-800-955-4464, extension 8324, to get the signature code. Health and Medical History Form
Kettering’s health and counseling services are free to all students. However, if a student is in need of a referral for a medical specialist, lab work, x-rays, specialized medical procedures or an emergency outside of our center, either the student and/or the student’s insurance company will be responsible for the cost.

Please complete the Health and Medical History Form and return it to the university as indicated.If you have questions please contact Deborah Williams-Roberts (Director) or Sue Cook (Office Manager) toll free at 1-800-955-4464, ext. 9650 or via email at wellness@kettering.edu. Immunizations must be up to date. A TB test is required.

Step 3: Take the On-line Math Placement exam. Required of all students. Please click here for more information!

Step 4: Submit your resume and prepare for the co-op employment search

We've got a helpful Resume Development Handbook and a sample resume to help you with the co-op search process. For more information, contact the Office of Cooperative Education & Career Services at 800-955-4464, ext. 7865.

Step 5: Submit the FAFSA

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form is your ticket to financial aid opportunities. While many families think they won't be eligible, with $90 billion available in federal financial aid, Kettering encourages ALL families to complete the FAFSA. Step 6: Attend Prep for Success

Prep for Success is a program designed specifically for students who have been admitted to Kettering University. This program has been designed to educate you and prepare you for life as a Kettering University Student.
